Drinking Games: Jeopardy

The Jeopardy Drinking Game is a bit more socially acceptable than the Price is Right Drinking Game — at least it’s on after dinner — but certainly no less potent. If you’re looking for a chance to show off your trivia knowledge while having a couple of brews, turn on everyone’s favorite game show, follow these rules, and get ready for some non-stop drinking.

You Will Need:

A TV and a channel that gets Jeopardy (or a taped show), at least 3 people, and a hearty stock of things to imbibe.

The Rules:

Since Jeopardy has 3 contestants, everyone playing the game should divide into 3 mostly equal teams. Each team picks a contestant to root for.

Round One

-Every time your player gets an answer right, every member on the other teams both drink one time.
-Every time another team answers correctly, you drink one time.
-Every time your player answers incorrectly, you drink twice.
-If nobody answers a question correctly, everybody drinks.
-If your player gets a daily double right, everybody on the other team must take 5 drinks. If your player gets it wrong, everyone on your team takes five drinks.

Double Jeopardy

-All the rules are the same except drink values are doubled

Final Jeopardy

-If your player wins, feel free to brag. If someone else won, kill your drink!

Miscellaneous

-If, during the contestant interviews, your player has a stereotypically nerdy job (like a librarian) or a stereotypically nerdy hobby (like collecting portraits of cats), take a drink.
-IRISH RULES: During the Final Jeopardy song, do a Waterfall with all of the players.
